Diana was born and raised in New York. She majored in foreign languages in college and after graduation, joined the U.S. Army as an interrogator/translator with language specialties of German and Chinese Mandarin. After completing military service, she went back to college and obtained her degree as a registered nurse. More than four decades later, Diana retired from nursing after holding positions as Staff Nurse, Nurse Educator, Director of Nursing and Infection Preventionist. She continued her education throughout her career, eventually earning her Doctorate degree in Health Administration. In 2002, Diana moved to the White Mountains of Arizona with her husband Michael, and enjoyed her hobbies of quilting, genealogy, shooting and writing. Following the death of her husband, Diana found a new hobby: cruising. She fell in love with life at sea and now cruises as often as she can. When on board, one can usually find her on deck, either writing or sewing and enjoying the peace and tranquility of the ocean.
