Diane Diekman is a retired U.S. Navy captain who lives in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She is president of the Battleship South Dakota Memorial, president of the South Dakota Council of the U.S. Navy League, and was twice named All-American Commander of VFW Post 628. She publishes a twice-monthly classic country music newsletter at no cost to subscribers.
She is currently working on her fourth biography of a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame -- Hargus "Pig" Robbins.
