Donna is a world traveler, community activist, wine lover and foodie with an occasionally uncontrollable sweet tooth. Forced to retire from a beloved job in the travel industry due to the pandemic, she returned to a long abandoned joy of writing poetry. She followed her first book of poetry with a second and has published novellas under the pen name, Azalyn St. Francis. Donna is the mother of grown twin sons who are her biggest cheerleaders. She is a graduate of the University of Houston and a proud lifetime member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
