Ben, a Pennsylvania native, joined the U.S. Army after 9/11, serving as an Infantryman during multiple Iraq War combat tours. After returning home, he became a police officer, holding roles such as Detective, Hostage Negotiator, and Crisis Intervention Team Supervisor before retiring in 2023. He later earned a Ph.D. in Psychology and now works as an Organizational Psychology Consultant for Law Enforcement and an adjunct professor. Dedicated to supporting first responders and veterans, Ben remains active as a part-time officer and a passionate peer support volunteer, with advanced degrees in criminal justice and psychology.
