About Dr. J. D. Gordon
Dr. J. D. Gordon was born in Kingston, Jamaica, to Jamaican parents who migrated from rural St. Ann. He grew up in Bull Bay, St. Andrew and later moved into St. Catherine. For twenty-three years he worked in accounting and shipping logistics on the Kingston Container Terminal.
His outstanding music and creative works have won him many international awards and prestigious recognition. Though he never studied early childhood education, he is widely recognised as an outstanding children educator and facilitator.
