Dr. Staci Whitman is a board-certified dentist and a leading voice in functional dentistry, on a mission to create a cavity-free world. She earned her dental degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and completed her specialty training at Oregon Health & Science University. She is board-certified in pediatric dentistry and is one of the only dentists in the world to hold a functional medicine certification from the Institute for Functional Medicine. She is also an internationally certified health coach.
She co-founded the Institute for Functional Dentistry, which launched the first certification in oral-systemic dentistry, and she founded the nation's first functional pediatric dental practice. A serial entrepreneur and inventor, she has created and patented eco-friendly oral care products and oral-microbiome-supportive brands.
Dr. Whitman is an international educator and keynote speaker on functional dentistry and the oral-systemic connection. She has appeared on the Huberman Lab podcast, one of the top science podcasts in the world, and has been featured by CNN and in The Washington Post.
