Dr. W. Sumner Davis is an accomplished clinical epidemiologist, medical psychologist, health educator, forensic scientist and author whose work bridges the boundaries of science, ethics, and human experience. With over five decades of professional service across public health, medicine, and higher education, Dr. Davis has held key roles within the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Army Medical Command, and the U.S. Air Force’s Hearing Centers of Excellence, as well as serving as a consultant and educator guiding more than ninety doctoral scholars to completion. His academic career spans more than thirty years and includes four doctorate degrees, eight masters degrees, and advanced study certifications from institutions such as Harvard University, University College London, Trinity College Dublin, Tufts University, and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. A Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada and a lifetime member of multiple international scientific and honor societies, Dr. Davis is widely recognized for his leadership in ethical psychology, research administration, and clinical science.
