Erica's writing journey began in 5th grade when she wrote and illustrated her first book, Running Rain. Thirteen years later, she became a Wattpad Creator on the storytelling platform. In 2020, Breeder won a Watty Award, and in 2022, she was invited to speak on a worldbuilding panel at WattCon (LA).
As a part-time author, she mainly operates in the fantasy, sci-fi, and adventure genres (but never omits a slow-burning romantic subplot). She aims to write inclusively, diversely, and boldly enough that someday, bigoted white men will label her a "Nasty Woman."
When she's not developing fantasy worlds, Erica works diligently to green the business sector in her home state, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and improve environmental education. She also enjoys a semiannual chaotic road trip with her partner, Petr.
