E. Lee White is a versatile and prolific writer who has had a passion for writing since he was very young. He grew up in New Jersey and attended Roxbury High School where he wrote news articles for the school newspaper. He graduated from the US Air Force Academy in 1989 and served on active duty for over ten years. As the result of winning a writing competition, he received recognition for an essay called "Why I Serve" that was published in Air Force Magazine. In 2021, he published his first children's book, “The Adventures of the Log That Rolled”, which he wrote for his son when he was learning to read in elementary school. A few years later, he published another book called "Goldfish Are Not Fun" as a tribute for his daughter.

In addition to spending time with his family, E. Lee White enjoys spending time outdoors, bonfires and watching nature as it goes through its daily routine in his backyard. He has several hobbies to keep him busy in his free time, including writing, playing guitar, riding motorcycles, making homemade ice cream and photography.
