Edward Daniels' most recent book is The Last of the Firefighters, a science fiction novel that explores the future of firefighting from the perspective of Johnny Stasso, a career firefighter in Boulder, Colorado.
Ed's first book, Fire Chief: The Story of a Volunteer Firefighter, tells the story of his own career as a volunteer firefighter.
Ed spent more than 14 years with Colorado's Foothills Fire and Rescue as a firefighter, officer, board member and chief before he retired from the fire service. Daniels is a consultant and has been an executive with several technology and healthcare corporations for almost three decades. The author holds degrees in industrial engineering and psychology. He most recently served on the board of directors of the Highland Rescue Team Ambulance District in Colorado.
