This lifelong resident of the metropolitan Tulsa area has over 50 years of experience in print and electronic sports journalism and information research. His previous books have focused on Tulsa’s general history and the city’s contributions to American music. Elven lives in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and is a member of the Tulsa NightWriters, the Museum of Tulsa History, the Oklahoma Writers Federation, and the Society for American Baseball Research.
