Eric Jones is a retired Vice President who grew from humble beginnings in rural Jamaica to walk the corridors of American leadership. After earning his Bachelor of Science, he immigrated to the United States, where he earned a Master of Science and a Master of Public Administration. After a few years in the private sector, he dedicated the rest of his 35-year career to public service. Throughout his life, he has navigated a complex landscape of challenges across both cultures, learning hard-won lessons along the way.
His memoir, Life Lessons from Two Worlds: My Jamaican-American Journey, distills these experiences into a narrative of perseverance and adaptability, offering a thoughtful examination of the immigrant experience and the quiet power of resilience and determination. This is his major authorial debut, the culmination of a lifelong passion for writing, previously channeled through academic research and published scientific work—the story of a life lived that only he could tell.
