Eric S. Clayton (b. 1955) was born in Chicago, Illinois, to African American parents, grew up in Harvey, Illinois before he left to attend Benedictine College in Atchison, KS and Wichita State University in Wichita, KS where he earned a B.A. Political Science and a M.A Public Administration, respectively. For thirty seven years he has worked in the telecommunication industry as a Senior Outside Plant Engineer. He has published 7 diverse books from fiction to nonfiction, from sports to education.
