Eugene M. DeRobertis has a B.A. in philosophy from St. Peter's University and a Ph.D. in psychology from Duquesne University. He has worked as a guidance counselor, a psychotherapist, and an addictions counselor. As an author in the field of psychology, Dr. DeRobertis thinks of himself as existential-phenomenological, humanistic, hermeneutic, personalistic, dialogal, ecopsychological, and somewhat neo-Thomistic. Some of Dr. DeRobertis's writing reflects a global concern for the dehumanization of human beings.
