Evelyne Rose writes dark fantasy and romance filled with complicated characters, dangerous choices, political intrigue, and people who are rarely as good or as terrible as they first appear.
A lifelong storyteller, she has always been drawn to worlds where love and loyalty are tested under pressure, villains have reasons for becoming villains, and even the heroes are allowed to make spectacularly bad decisions.
Her work is heavily influenced by fantasy, history, folklore, and a lifelong appreciation for morally gray characters, sharp dialogue, and stories that are willing to hurt a little before they let anyone breathe again.
When she isn't writing, Evelyne can usually be found listening to music far too loudly, researching something that was supposed to take five minutes, or plotting increasingly questionable things to do to fictional people.
