Hi everyone! Frank Lowe here, though some of you might know me from my acerbic Twitter handle "@GayAtHomeDad." I am pleased to say that through my exposure on Twitter, I have now entered the writing realm and am proud to be an author! Prior to books, I wrote for almost every major publication, and even had television appearances. My goal is to create different works that have one thing in common: acceptance. I personally feel so many people face challenges with acceptance, either of themselves or other people. If I can even change one person's opinion and cause them to have more diversity within their life, then I've achieved this goal. As an author, I've now completed the editing of an anthology - "Raised by Unicorns," which follows the stories of fifteen separate individuals and how having LGBTQ+ parents affected their lives. It is compelling, visceral, and important. Their stories deserve to be heard, and they put you on an emotional rollercoaster. My second book is a children's book, titled "Some People Do." I was inspired by a friend, who asked me to explain diversity in a simple way. As a result, I've created a polished, rhythmic book that does exactly that. I was elated when my illustrator, Josh Hara (known as @yoyoha on various social media) teamed up with me to truly bring the book to life. It could be considered a tool parents can use to openly discuss all of the differences that make humans so amazing. It is out for release on June 1, 2019. Finally, I am finishing up my memoir, aptly called "Memoirs of a Gay Man." I've been through a lot, and have had an extremely strange and rocky journey to get where I am now. For the first time ever, I will talk about how. If you can think of it, most likely I have gone through it, and now I will have the chance to discuss it. The tentative release date is June 1, 2020. Thank you for taking a moment to view this page. I am constantly inspired and hope that one day it will be full of many works, all running the gamut!
