GaGa Gabardi didn’t exactly flee Minnesota for the sun — but she meant to! Instead, she built a high-flying career in telecommunications, collecting a Master’s in Project Management, a Master’s in Business, and an Advanced Project Degree from Stanford. She even earned her private pilot license… only to discover that “av” fuel requires a serious paycheck.
Luckily, consulting, teaching, and course design kept her happily airborne—and introduced her to the title she treasures most: GaGa, courtesy of her first grandson.
During the pandemic, writing with coauthor Judilee became her favorite escape: humor, mysteries, and a healthy swirl of real-life adventure.
Today, GaGa lives in the Colorado mountains with her husband, where inspiration roams as freely as the wildlife — and some story ideas arrive bumping along a rough trail in a side-by-side.

Originally from New York, Judilee studied at SUNY Brockport and taught kindergarten before heading south to earn a Master’s in Special Education. The plot took a twist when she entered the corporate scene with IBM, spending two decades solving a whole different kind of puzzle.
Retirement led to the mountains of Colorado — a perfect setting for a writer with a curious mind. A short mystery collaboration for a museum fundraiser opened the door to her newest chapter: crafting a lighthearted mystery series. Set in the spirited mining town of Oresville, the adventures follow Phoebe, a sharp and determined heroine who always finds trouble (and solutions).
