He founded Tesseract Corporation which became one of the leading Human Resource software companies. His research into Artificial Intelligence led to the invention of a system for massively parallel inference. Mr. Durbin founded Seeker Software, one of the early Web-based application companies, in 1996. He founded SyncHR Inc in 2005. SyncHR provides web services using patented database technology. In addition to writing and traveling, he provides consulting and angel investing for technology companies.
