Gary Zacny writes about his Midwestern youth and his current life in the Pacific Northwest. His collection of Christmas Letters contains wry observations, stories, and poems that seek to engender the Christmas spirit. During his career as an IT consultant, he traveled worldwide -- from Athens to Zurich – maintaining journals filled with sights, tastes, history, local lore, and oddball encounters which he has turned into adventures for armchair travelers. He tries to bring to his accounts a sense of curiosity and humor, because, as he says, “Travel should be fun, and the same goes for prose.”
