George vonHilsheimer, MD retired from the Army in 2011 after completing a thirty-year career as a paratrooper, attack helicopter pilot, and physician. Following his military service, he practiced in the Florida Panhandle and Key West for several years and taught dermatology at the University of Florida School of Medicine. He now lives and practices as a Mohs skin cancer surgeon in Central Florida. He enjoys playing guitar and singing at various venues. He has four grown children.
