Gerard C. Cole was born in the Bronx, New York and currently resides in Boston, Massachusetts. As a child, he was being raised at home with his ten siblings when suddenly, at the age of nine, he and all his brothers and sisters were taken from their home, separated into pairs, and placed in foster and group homes.
On Gerard’s 18th birthday, Nassau County Social Services released him from the foster care system with no guidance, direction, or support, leaving him to navigate adulthood on his own. Yet through every hardship, Gerard refused to accept bitterness or blame. He never faulted his parents—or anyone else—for the trials he endured.
Instead, Gerard leaned on his faith and trusted that God had a purpose woven through his pain. His life mission became to radiate love, wisdom, and resilience to young people and to walk alongside them as they discover the best version of themselves.
Jailed by Lust – Released by Love marked Gerard’s debut into the world of storytelling. He is also recognized for his work as a talent consultant and manager for both young and adult performers, including the America’s Got Talent phenomenon, “Voices of Glory.”
Today, Gerard continues to write, teach, and serve—sharing a message of healing, purpose, and divine alignment through every project he touches, including his latest release, Deceitful Intentions.
