Gloire Emmanuel Ndongala was born in the capital of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Kinshasa. When he was a child, the tyrant Mobutu’s secret police came after his father. By the grace of God, they all escaped and moved to America. At the age of 14, his father left his family, and he was taken in by a Hispanic family in Colorado, the Luceros. Despite these challenges, Gloire managed to complete college, earning a Bachelor’s in Church Ministries (Leadership), an Associate’s in Psychology, and an Associate of Arts in Bible. He is married to his wonderful wife, Katie, and they have three children: Dóxa (son), Penayel (daughter), and Kembo (son).
In 2023, Gloire, his wife Katie, and a team planted a church in Great Falls, Montana, called Upper Room Church Great Falls. But the story doesn’t end here. Recently, God brought Gloire’s father back into his life, and they have now reconciled. GLORY TO GOD! He follows the greatest Author and Perfecter of our faith. This is truly where a new story begins.
