Gad (Gregory A. Downey) was born in autumn of the year of our lord 1970 in Milford, CT. He grew up dreaming of a time long ago and chasing every possible adventure he could find. When he was 22, he took his bravest journey and moved to California.
When he arrived, he began to try to make two of his three greatest dreams come true: to write a book and to teach the art of the sword. A decade later, he helped found the Western Circle of Swordfighters (westerncircle.org), one of the art’s most respected sword groups and wrote The Curse of Raven’s Rose Keep.
