H. D. Baker earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Cincinnati and worked as a licensed architect before founding Love Helps, inc., a public charity helping children in Nashville, Tennessee, in 1995. Dean has served as its Executive Director for more than 30 years. He is also an author, teacher, speaker, father and grandfather. Dean and his wife live in Nashville, Tennessee and enjoy working, playing, and serving God together.
