Hadassah Lewis grew up in a rural farming community, surrounded by fields and woods. She spent much of her childhood out in nature and has always loved identifying flowers, trees, and birds.
For five years, Hadassah lived in the Amazon rainforest, where her indigenous friends taught her the basics of jungle foraging, living more sustainably, and slowing down to enjoy each moment and connect with people. Now back in North America, Hadassah is passionate about foraging and identifying edible wild plants, and wants to share what she has learned with others.
