UK based author Hilary Pugh has spent her whole life reading and making up stories. She has written two series of crime mysteries, one set in Scotland and featuring Private Investigator Ian Skair and his dog Lottie. The other, The Breakfast Club Detectives is set in Windsor and involves a group of four amateur sleuths. She is currently working on Proudfoot and Handy Investigate, a third series set in the fictional town of Trippinghampton in the Cotswolds.
Hilary has worked as a professional oboist and piano teacher and more recently as a creative writing tutor for the Workers Educational Association.
She loves cats and makes excellent meringues.
