I worked in publishing for over 30 years, marketing educational books for children, teenagers, and adults. This background enabled me to imagine the fictitious world of the Little Bear company, a children's book publisher, which Sam Holliday joins. She's thrilled that her job will focus on marketing Little Bear's best-selling series, featuring Granny Fi. The Granny Fi stories do actually exist - I wrote them for my grandchildren but never published them. I've written three books in The Sam Holliday Series, with a fourth at the planning stage. When I'm not writing cozy crime, I devise murder mystery games, and I've also written audio plays. Living close to some wonderful countryside on the edge of the Cotswolds in the UK, I often combine walking with thinking about plots and characters. So far, I've always found my way home.
