In summer and autumn you can generally find Iain galavanting around the Scottish mountains in search of snow left over from previous winters. His interest in this subject was stimulated when he used to observe the remnants of previous winters' snowfall on the hills around Loch Lomond.
He has contributed to the Royal Meteorological Society's 'Weather' publication since 2007, and has appeared on the BBC's 'Winterwatch' 'The One Show' and 'Grand Tours of Scotland' programme, as well as national press and radio appearances.
