Ido Graf – International Thriller Author If you enjoy the gripping suspense of Ken Follett, the legal twists of John Grisham, the conspiratorial puzzles of Dan Brown, and the razor-sharp thrillers of Nelson DeMille, you will love the novels of Ido Graf. Ido Graf is an international author of political, military, and espionage thrillers, renowned for blending fast-paced storytelling with meticulous realism, global settings, and authentic intelligence-world detail. His novels explore power, conspiracy, history, terrorism, and the fragile line between loyalty and betrayal. Raised between the Mediterranean and London, Ido grew up surrounded by culture, politics, and history. His family were acquaintances of legendary author Graham Greene, whose influence helped shape Ido’s lifelong fascination with morally complex characters and high-stakes storytelling. After completing his Bachelor’s degree, Ido pursued a Master’s qualification and a series of specialist studies. His professional life has taken him across Europe, the Middle East, and North America, with experience in both government departments and private sector organisations. He has also spent time at Interpol headquarters in Lyon, gaining rare insight into international law enforcement and intelligence cooperation. Ido’s extensive travels across Africa, South America, Russia, the Far East, and the Middle East provide the backbone of his novels’ authenticity. His encounters with intelligence services in Guinea and Sierra Leone, and an invitation from the Colombian government during a period of national tension, further deepened his understanding of geopolitics and covert operations. In one surreal episode, Ido even found himself in a shooting contest in Vietnam’s Củ Chi district, firing AK-47s alongside John F. Kennedy Jr., while actress Daryl Hannah looked on — an experience that later inspired scenes of raw realism in his fiction. An adventurer as well as a writer, Ido is a certified scuba diver, skydiver, alpine mountaineer, skier, and snowboarder. This passion for challenge and exploration is reflected in the relentless pace and cinematic scope of his novels. Ido Graf’s books span: • Political thrillers • Espionage and intelligence fiction • Military and terrorism thrillers • Corporate and historical conspiracies His stories are always grounded in real locations, real politics, and real possibilities — making them as unsettling as they are addictive. Readers describe his work as intelligent, fast-moving, and impossible to put down.
