Ishaa Vinod Chopra is the author of ‘Finding Order in Disorder’, a memoir exploring her journey with bipolar disorder, domestic abuse and art therapy while exploring therapeutic coping strategies of Dance, Art, Yoga, and ‘Mad Poetry.’ Ishaa is pursuing a Thesis for a Master of Science in Critical Family & Kinship Studies with an Interdisciplinary focus on Gender, Sexualities and Bodies at the University of Guelph, Canada. Her academic background spans Performing Arts and Early Childhood Education. As an artist-scholar, her work has been featured in York University’s thesis ‘Unfinished’, Workman Arts Organization programming, Rendezvous with Madness, Stella’s Place film festivals and Academic Conferences e.g Children’s Mental Health Ontario-CMHO, eMHIC & ISPS-US. Her writing, inspired by her Supervisor, Dr. Adam W.J. Davies, has appeared in AECEO’s eceLINK journal. Founder of the Non-Profit Finding Order in Disorder, her projects include hybrid podcasts, therapeutic dance and community engagement for mental well-being.
