J. Mark Fox is the pastor of Antioch Community Church in Elon, NC, and has taught public speaking at Elon University since 1990. He writes a weekly column for the Times-News of Burlington, NC, which has won five Amy Awards.You can read his blog at jmarkfox.com
Mark is the author of seven books, Who's Afraid of Public Speaking?, (1998; updated ebook in 2014) Family-Integrated Church (2006), Real Life Moments: A Dad's Devotional (2008), You Can Write!(2008), Planting a Family-Integrated Church (2008), A Faithful Man(2012), A Glimpse Behind the Calling (with Jeff Klick), 2014, and his latest, Age Integrated Church (2015).
Mark and Cindy celebrated 33 years of marriage in June, and have seven children, two daughters-in-law, three grandsons (Blake, Seth, Owen), and one granddaughter (Liza): Micah and Kari, Caleb and Celia, Hannah, Luke, Jesse, Judah and Susanna, ages 31 to 16.
Mark's passion is preaching and writing, and he enjoys running and traveling.
