Jacqueline Reinig is the award-winning author of the Faery Academy of QuillSnap series. After a rewarding 40-year career as a registered nurse, she fulfilled a lifelong dream by becoming a novelist at the age of 63.

Living on a farm in southwest Iowa with her husband, Jacqueline finds inspiration in nature, faith, family, and the wonder of imagination. She shares her home with four beloved feline companions—Stewart, Magic Kitty, Mango, and Gracie—who faithfully supervise every writing session and occasionally insist on being her unofficial editors.

Her magical adventures invite readers into QuillSnap, a world where courage, friendship, resilience, and a little bit of mischief can change everything. Through Tansy, Bertie, and the unforgettable characters of QuillSnap, Jacqueline hopes to inspire readers of every age to believe in themselves and discover that even the smallest spark can make an extraordinary difference.

When she's not writing, Jacqueline enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, traveling, golfing, and dreaming up new adventures for QuillSnap. She believes it's never too late to follow your dreams—and she hopes every reader closes one of her books believing that magic begins with courage.
