Jaden Whittall was born in January 1989 in Dudley, West Midlands. Due to a premature birth it was soon discovered that he had a severe visual impairment leaving him with very little sight in his right eye and completely blind in his left, despite this he has always maintained a great deal of independence.
At the age of 18 Jaden moved to Northern Ireland and spent his time travelling the country and writing poetry, after the sudden death of a friend he wrote his first poetry book 'Are You Laughing Now'
Now studying for a degree in creative writing with the Open University Jaden has since published 6 more poetry collections and a rhyming book for children.
