James Barnes is an Associate Extension Professor and Director of the Bricks-To-Clicks Marketing Program at Mississippi State University (brickstoclicks.extension.msstate.edu). The program provides online marketing workshops to help business leaders create a clear marketing plan to grow their business. He also teaches marketing courses in the College of Business at Mississippi State, namely the Boots to Business Revenue Readiness Program for Veterans. Dr. Barnes also hosts the Building A Vibrant Community Podcast and publishes research on small business entrepreneurship, marketing, and community development issues. He lives in Starkville, Mississippi with his wife Delise and their children.
