After trading a successful career in business for life on a barrier island working with sick and injured sea turtles, James found the inspiration for Treasure Coast when packages of illegal narcotics washed up on a local beach. James currently resides in San Diego, California, with his wife, Suzanne, and their rescue dog, Maple where he has discovered the joys of tequila and live music at large venues but has yet to embrace the “icy” Pacific.
