Jean Waight is a memoirist whose work has appeared in the anthologies Memory into Memoir, in This Uncommon Solitude, and in Cirque: A Literary Journal for the North Pacific Rim, and she was a prizewinner in Pacific Northwest Writers Association 2021 literary contest. Her M.A. research in Sociology appeared in Research in Social Stratification and Mobility.
She lives among tall conifers in Bellingham, WA, canoes every chance she gets, attends First Congregational Church of Bellingham, and is a fan of baseball, all things Australian, Oregon’s Mt. Hood, and cooking for a small planet.
