Slum Lord author Jeanette S. Keim is clearly a woman of many talents. Ms. Keim has been a symphonic cellist, and a pianist (She’s famed in Fort Worth as “Jean, Jean, the piano machine”). She’s also the author of several musical composition books. And now “Slum Lord,” a touching memoir about her entrepreneurial, colorful husband Arthur Keim, himself a well-known Texas figure.
A Fort Worth native, Ms. Keim also holds multiple degrees from the University of Texas and is one of the privileged few to be inducted into the “Texas Trail of Fame” for her work with the historical Fort Worth Stockyards.
