Thanks for visiting my author page. I am a writer, history teacher and lawyer, earning my history degree many years ago, Phi Beta Kappa, from the University of Texas. I created and teach an innovative, extra-curricular Jewish history course for high school juniors and seniors and write Jewish historical fiction.
My WINDOW TO YESTERDAY novels, primarily for middle schoolers, explore key events in Jewish history. FOR THREE LINES is a story of love, hope and courage under horrible conditions. I very carefully research my books and strive for historical accuracy; each book includes Historical Notes at the end. I think accuracy is key to first-rate historical fiction.
I visited Israel several times before writing the WINDOW TO YESTERDAY books and explored Warsaw, Krakow, and elsewhere in Poland as a small part of my research for FOR THREE LINES. I’m from Houston, Texas, where my wife Beth and I raised our four children.
