Jeff Siegel, M.Ed., is a wellness coach, Harvard teaching fellow, and author who helps people — especially high-achieving professionals — transform their relationship with food, body, and self-trust. His debut book, Eating 2.0: How to Eat Confidently in an Ultraprocessed World, offers an inside-out alternative to dieting for anyone who feels at war with food: the chronic dieter, the emotional eater, and the person who can't stop thinking about their next meal.

Drawing on Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy and nutrition psychology, Eating 2.0 introduces the Inner Eaters — the four inner voices behind every food decision: the Survival Eater, the Pleasure Eater, the Social Eater, and the Strategic Eater. Rather than relying on willpower or restriction, Jeff teaches readers to lead these parts using the CARE model (Curiosity, Appreciation, Responsibility, and Experimentation), reclaiming agency in a food environment engineered to hijack appetite.

Jeff holds a master's in Mind, Brain, and Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, where he co-teaches Inner Strengths for Mindful Presence, and a master's in Buddhist Studies from the University of Hong Kong. He writes the "Self-Care for Men" column for Psychology Today and the In-Formation newsletter on Substack. He lives in Somerville, Massachusetts, and spends summers on the New Jersey shore.
