A lifelong resident of Ogden, Utah, Jeffrey Stagg is the youngest of three boys. An avid fantasy reader since he was thirteen, Stagg practically grew up on the shores of Flathead Lake, Montana, surrounded by family stories about Flathead Lake monsters.
Stagg graduated from Weber State University with a degree in history and a minor in Spanish. His areas of interest include the early American establishment, old world legends and myths, and wars fought in and out of the United States.
