Jen Woodrum, author of The Severed Fates, is a mental health therapist who always dreamed of writing books. She loves sci-fi, mind-bendy stories that explore hard questions, don't give easy answers, and demonstrate real struggles of being human.
In addition to being an avid reader, she loves writing music, crochet (and teasing her cat with the yarn), and getting inspired by video games. She lives in the midwest with her husband. Her first book, When Death Is Coming, won the 2024 Sci-fi Realm Award. Her second book, When Death Is Watching, is patiently awaiting a pretty sticker of its own someday.
