I have been a deli hand, a legal clerk, a credit union clerk, an accountant, a tax preparation worker and then, in my mid-forties, after studying for my Diploma in Editing and Proofreading, jumped from accounting to editing, from numbers to words. After belonging to the first cohort of Australian editors to pass the IPEd Accreditation Exam (2008), I established my own business which during the course of the next 15 years resulted in: - the creation of IndieMosh Self Publishing for Australian authors (now owned by Tellwell Publishing) - the establishment of The MoshShop – the former online bookstore for Aussies to buy IndieMosh books - the former book marketing site One Thousand Words Plus - the now-closed writing competition narratorINTERNATIONAL (and its prior incarnations: narrator MAGAZINE, narratorAUSTRALIA, narratorUK, narratorUSA, narratorROMANCE, etc) These days I am freelancing again as a copy editor, proofreader and family history researcher (aka 'dead rel hunter').
