Jennifer Ott was born and raised in Reading, Pennsylvania and loved to find adventure with her brothers and sisters. Often it was creating mysteries and stories while playing in the woods near their home and dark mysterious attics and corners of their family home, they were sure was haunted. During her time at Albright College, she developed a love for literature, and upon moving to New York City, she spent years studying screenwriting and storytelling at the Gotham Writer’s Workshop. Recently, she studied under literary agent, and master teacher to further develop her craft of writing. Jennifer has never given up her quest for adventure as she has traveled as far as China and Thailand, to several European countries. Her favorite being France for where she attended two artist residencies. Every adventure creates a new story and every person she meets is a character with a tale to tell. When not writing, Jennifer loves illustrating her books, studying history and traveling.
