Jens Wittenberger, born in 1972, studied communication science, psycholinguistics, and theater studies in Munich. For over twenty-five years, he has been the Co-founder and CEO of a recruitment agency with offices in Munich and Hamburg and lives with his family in Munich. He spent his childhood near the former Roman Limes. Ever since one of his teachers discovered the Roman treasure of Weißenburg, he has been fascinated by Roman history, which inspired his debut novel, "In the Shadow of the Empire." ("Im Schatten des Imperiums") "The Enemies of the Empire" ("Die Feinde des Imperiums") completes the duology.
