Jesús Eduardo Villarroel is an electronic engineer who spent his career measuring time.

For years he advised companies on ISO standards and the standardization of organizational processes, breaking every operation down into steps and asking the same question each time: how long does this take, and what is it worth? He had studied Frederick Taylor and Henri Fayol, the pioneers of time and motion analysis. He knew how to put a number on an hour of production.

Then he turned that question on the only time that cannot be manufactured: the time of a human life.

What he found became The Antichrono Theory. We have built a civilization that prices an hour of work down to the cent and treats an hour of living as if it were free. Our children are growing up inside screens engineered to take that hour and give nothing back. Attention shortens, childhood shortens, and nobody ever sends an invoice.

He first presented the theory in May 2024 at the United Nations headquarters in New York, during the XXVI Hispanic American Press Congress.

He is the father of a young son. That is not a detail, it is the reason the book exists.

Today he writes for parents, teachers and anyone who has felt that their days are being spent by someone else. He is the founder of United Against Antichrono, a nonprofit corporation established in New York, and of Human Time Academy, an online school built on the theory.

He is the author of ¿El tiempo de Dios es perfecto? (Is God's Time Perfect?) and The Antichrono Theory.
