Jim is best known for his hit series, the Entangled Galaxy.
Jim likes to blend the best elements of two science fiction subgenres that are sometimes seen as incompatible: hard science fiction, which imagines what happens when we make reasonable scientific breakthroughs, and space opera, which is driven by action and adventure. Star Trek is an excellent example of hard science fiction space opera.
Jim studied math, physics, and psychology in college and later led a computer group in medical informatics research at Indiana University. He now brings this wealth of experience to his writing, where he explores humanity's futures. You can learn more, connect with Jim, and read his blog at Meeks-Johnson dot com.
