Jo (Gius) Branco took up novel writing rather late and by chance. Born in Salerno, Italy, in 1954, he grew up in Basel, Switzerland. He trained in chemistry and company quality management, spending most of his professional life working in the life sciences industry in Basel.
In his novels, he draws on his experience and interests in computer science, biology, and astronomy to create fantastic, scientifically based stories. This combination of fictional narrative and factual knowledge characterises his novels to date. Fascinated by languages, he has embarked on the adventure of having his books translated into Italian, English and Spanish.
