Joe Shumock is a Mystery Suspense writer. He grew up in Semmes, Alabama, near Mobile and the Alabama Gulf Coast. Shumock is a veteran, having served in the U.S. Army. He attended the University of New Orleans, earning a degree in accounting that allowed a career as a CPA and Certified Financial Planner.
After retirement, Joe Shumock moved to the mountains and has been writing since 2007. That is when his first novel, "A Letter To Die For" was born. Since then, he has written and published five mystery suspense thrillers in his "Letter Series". His latest work "The Last Parade", is the fifth in his mystery suspense "Letter Series". Also written by the author are "Briana and the Dog", a children's story for all ages about a young girl with a disability and a biblical novelette about a boy's life-journey following a strange star during the time of Christ.
Joe and his wife Pat reside in the mountains of North Carolina where Joe is always working on his next endeavor. Away from writing, they enjoy traveling to discover as many new adventures as possible.
