Joe Vodan lives in Northern Michigan, where he divides his time between writing, woodworking, and running a small craft business with his wife. He’s drawn to quiet stories that explore grief, guilt, and the long road toward redemption. His debut novel, The River Whispers, grew out of those same questions—what it costs to be whole, and what happens when we try to heal ourselves the wrong way.
