John Breen Wren was born in Pittsburgh PA, raised in Western New York State, north of Buffalo, attended college and began his professional career in Cleveland, Ohio. He and his wife, Lois now live in Northern Virginia. Before retiring in 2012, he worked in the design engineering and construction field since 1967 and as a professional engineer since 1978. He began writing in 2010 as a hobby and since retirement has stressed his writing completing six novels and six short stories. He is currently working on sequels to two of his novels.
